TAFM is pleased to announce that a public dialogue/discussion is scheduled on Sunday, July 1st. 2007. The morning session at 10:00am-12:00pm on topic 'Relevance of Buddhism in 21st century' is exclusively for the youth(below 40 years old). The evening session at 5:00pm-7:00pm on topic 'Tibetan Buddhist culture and Tibetan identity' is open to all.

The chief guest speaker is Dr Thupten Jinpa, a scholar and interpreter to H.H. The Dalai Lama. His speaking tours are important and coordinated by the Office of Tibet, New York. We may recall that H. H. The Dalai Lama always stressed the need to develop one's inner feelings positively with compassion along outer development of technology. This dialogue/discussion is informal and free. It includes awareness and contributions of Tibetan culture towards better global future. .

It is indeed a good opportunity to participate and avail these vast knowledge of the visiting Tibetan scholar especially, his experiences as interpreter to His Holiness during the Buddhist teachings. .

In this connection, we have issued a detailed program earlier in Tibetan and once again request your kind participation and support. If, any questions please contact the undersigned. Thank you. .

Sincerely, Karma Wangchuk, Executive Director/TAFM (651) 917-9556 www.tafm.org.

“The 14th Dalai Lama’s fresh account of Tibetan myth and history, as shared at Dharamsala over a three year period with Thomas Laird, is wonderful instruction and a great true pleasure, not less so because of the small informal moments that clarify these encounters with that delightful Buddha being who manifests in the beleaguered public figure of His Holiness.” —Peter Matthiessen, author of The Snow Leopard, National Book Award winner.
